Sonoma Interiors
I was first introduced to these clients in August 2004 when I was enlisted
by Adeeni Design Group in San Francisco, to design several custom pieces
of furniture and rugs for the clients, as well as to provide support with
the overall interior design of the house. After the clients fulfilled
their service agreement with A.D.G. in the spring of 2006, my work on this
Sonoma residence continued, and currently I am working on the design and
management their 2,400 sq. ft. modern landscape in the rear of the
residence. Please visit the Landscape and Garden page for pictures and
updates of this exciting project as it approaches its completion in Summer
2007.

Dining Room
The foundation was already laid in this stunning dining room by the previous
selection of an earthy gemstone color for the walls by A.D.G., and the
homeowner’s existing modern table and chairs.
The sculptural chandelier was added and is hand-made in Israel of crinkled
silk. Its’ shape and movement recalls something from the sea. That theme is
carried through in the 4 foot scroll-style photograph called ‘Evolution’, by
Clifton Albergotti. In it, soft and translucent jellyfish lazily float around a
reclining figure. This artwork has a kinship to the ‘Garlands’ photo in the
foyer, which is open to the dining room, but it compliments rather than repeats
the subject.
Further changes were made to the room via replacing the traditional beveled
glass in the built-in cabinets and
buffet with a custom glass which has grass
reeds embedded in it. The addition of art and accessories both modern and
antique complete this elegant room.
