Clifford Baker is a California native and published artist whose
work spans five decades. During this time Baker has explored many
genres and cultures through his camera lens. Approaching his
unusual subjects with artistic passion and a learned knowledge he
could also be described as a photographic archeologist. But it is
the fine artists’ aspect of Baker that is responsible for taking
us on a flight of fancy when viewing these abstracts of nature.
Much like a Rorschach test, the experience is a personal one and
it is possible to recognize the tangible in the inanimate. Cliff’s
unique vision and ‘ forced perspective’ can truly be called
abstract art.
